Daniel Loagar is a member of the Bucharest Collage Collective and the curator of Collage Festival for the 2024 and 2025 editions. He is an analog artist in a post-digital world, passionate about objects and technologies that have become obsolete, and the stories and history they have generated. Through his assemblages and installations, using found objects and salvaged materials, he aims to recontextualize the past, and bring new perspectives on technology, science, and art. Being inspired by avant-garde movements such as Dadaism and Brutalism, he experiments with various artistic media: sculpture, assemblage, installation, painting, as well as photography and graphic transfer on wood using handmade techniques.
