I’m a sociologist by profession, but for some time now I’ve been learning about artistic disciplines and crafts such as printmaking, screen printing, bookbinding, pinhole photography, and, of course, collage. The latter is the one I’ve spent the most time developing, learning and working on it on my own and in an analogous way. In a way, collage has gone from being a simple curiosity to experiment with something artistic to becoming a creative project and also a therapeutic element in my daily life. In this way, also wanting to expand on the premise with which I began collage, which is “never let creativity die,” I’ve ventured into other artistic expressions with the intention of connecting them.
