Clara Vardanian

Born in Paris in 1994, Clara Vardanian is a collage artist, with a unique voice rooted in dual heritage. She draws deep inspiration from her French and Uzbek origins. Her work explores the poetic potential of the urban landscape, using torn posters collected from the streets as raw material. These fragments, marked by time and public space, are reassembled into layered compositions that evoke memory, texture, and fleeting urban stories.

Clara integrates painting into her collages, blurring the boundaries between collage and canvas. This fusion creates a visual tension, part abstraction, part narrative, where the rawness of the street meets the intimacy of the studio.
Her collages are now part of numerous private collections
