Alina Blaga-Smith’s artistic work spans collage, painting, community projects and crafts. With a creative path shaped across Europe and the U.S., Alina’s practice is fueled by a deep passion for eco-innovation, collective impact, and the joy of making.
She discovered collage while leading upcycling workshops at festivals and found new inspiration through the Bucharest Collage Collective and the Orlando Collage Club. Alina’s artistic journey is grounded in community. In 2011, a volunteer experience with designers in Hungary sparked the creation of an NGO and social enterprise, initiatives that merge creativity with environmental action. Her projects have been recognized by the UN Youth Assembly, Yale School of the Environment, and the European Parliament’s creative partnerships group.
