Irina Csapo is a UK-based collage artist and product designer whose work explores the intersections of memory, technology, and imagination. Working with hand-cut analogue techniques, she transforms found images, vintage ephemera, and contemporary fragments into layered compositions that blur the boundaries between the surreal and the cosmic. Her collages evoke dreamlike worlds where past and future meet: flapper girls dance with circuits, galaxies bloom through feathers, and everyday scraps become portals into alternate realities.
Alongside her fine art practice, Irina is the creator of Cosmic Pet Portraits, a playful series that reimagines people’s beloved pets in celestial dreamscapes. This project combines her love of collage with a deep affection for animals, giving families and pet owners a chance to see their companions as radiant cosmic beings.
With a background in product and graphic design, as well as photography, Irina brings a sharp eye for composition and narrative flow to her art. She treats each collage as both an object and an experience, balancing thoughtful design with playful experimentation. Above all, her purpose is to spark joy and whimsy in the viewer, inviting them to step into layered universes where analogue tactility and cosmic wonder coexist.
