Deidré Matthee is an artist, writer and creative facilitator based at Malmaison Studios in Bucharest. Her love of paper and poetry brought her to analog collage, and her fascination with memory and storytelling drew her to assemblage. A South African turned Portuguese citizen, she came to Romania to be a bird in 2014, and found a nest.
